What a joke! How could she be angry with his poor joke?

Nina Morrison feels disdainful in her heart, but the expression on her face is very sincere, "No, I just thought, you live a hard life."

Lucien Gray doesn't expect her to say that. He is surprised and leaned over to kiss her on the forehead. "Well, it wasn't that hard. I was teasing you on purpose."

The soft thing in Nina Morrison's heart bounces back. She hurries to clear the table.

Lucien Gray feels satisfied and lie down on the couch on his own, "Nina Morrison, take your time. No hurry."

Nina Morrison grinds her teeth together, feeling distressed. Why can't you be tough and get rid of him?

Lucien Gray eats up all the dishes. Nina Morrison puts the empty dirty dishes in the sink. She puts on her gloves and starts washing.

Lucien Gray seems to be watching football in the living room, and Nina Morrison doesn't care.

She already has a plan. When she finished the washing, she would say that she was going out to do some shopping and that's the time to get Lucien Gray out.

He must not stay in her house any longer!

After washing the bowls, cleaning the stove, wiping the kitchen counter, and sorting out of garbage, Nina Morrison takes off her gloves and walks out of the kitchen.

Lucien Gray is lying on the couch with the remote control in his hand, but his eyes are closed.

Shit! He's falling asleep!

Nina Morrison rushes over to check. Lucien Gray's eyes were closed, his long lashes hanging over his eyelids, his breathing was steady and he seemed to be asleep.

Nina Morrison pokes him in the face, "Hey! Get up! Aren't you going to the office to deal with your work?"

No reaction.

Nina Morrison pokes him in the face harder, "Hey!"

The man turns over impatiently, frowning tightly.

Nina Morrison crouches on the side of the sofa and looks at his face. The handsome face finally relaxed in sleep. The tiredness was written deeply between his eyebrows. The sharp line on the corners of his mouth showed child helplessness after he falling asleep.

How many things are there in his mind?

Nina Morrison can't help reaching out her fingers and traces the lines along his face, his eyebrows, thick and long. His nose is tall and straight. His long eyelashes droop down with a bit of weakness. And his lips, Nina Morrison's trembling fingers stroke the corners of his lips.

This lips, said so many words that made her heart broken, and kissed her sweetly and crazily so many times.

...

With a shiver in her heart, Nina Morrison suddenly withdraws her hand. What on earth is she doing?

Has she forgotten all the scars of five years ago? Has she forgotten all about the terrible past?

With so many things happened five years ago, wasn't that enough to show that she and Lucien Gray weren't compatible?

Ruthlessly, Nina Morrison pushes Lucien Gray: "Hey, get up, go home to sleep!"

The man grumbled, he stretched out his long arm and took her in his arms, rubbing her heavily on the back of her neck using his slightly bearded chin.

Nina Morrison gets scared. She pulls herself out of Lucien Gray's arms when he stops moving.

Nina Morrison is too scared to wake him up again. She looks at the sky outside. It's just over 9pm. Looking at Lucien Gray's tall body curled up in the sofa, embarrassed and miserable, she sighs. Never mind. Let him have some sleep. He must be very tired these days on business trip.

At 11 o'clock, the damn man doesn't seem to be going to wake up.

If Nina Morrison pushes him, he will hug her in his arms so naturally and seamlessly.

After Nina Morrison takes a bath, she watches the man still asleep on the sofa and pulls a blank to cover him. She goes into the bedroom, locks the door securely and checks it several times.
