Nina looks at Lucien warily, trying to pull up the sheet to cover her body. Lucien grabs the sheet with one hand, and his strong body presses against her. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Don’t touch me!” She pushes him away. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He hugs her tightly. “Listen to me!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She feels the pain in her bones. She feels that he is squeezing all the air out of her chest. She freezes there. Her face is colder than ice. “Lucien, let me go.” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“No!” He hugs her and refuses to let go. He’s like the naughty baby. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She can feel his warm breath clearly in her ear. He does nothing but hold her tight. He whispers in her ear, “Nina, will you be my woman? I can see that you like Nelson very much. Stay with Nelson and me and treat Nelson as your own baby, OK?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She is very angry when she hears that. “You blackmail me with Nelson?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“I didn’t!” He growls. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“What do you mean then?” She asks in a deep voice. Her voice is very cold. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Finally, Nina struggles and pushes him hard. “You let go of me. I hate you!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He is pushed away by her and wants to reach for her. He accidentally pulls the sheet off her. She continues to struggle and the sheet is torn off. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He stops. He pulls Nina into his arms with strong arms. He presses her on the bed behind him. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
His eyes are fixed on Nina who is already gasping with fear. “Why are you shy? We have hugged many times.” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
They look at each other. She blushes angrily. She is shy and angry. She wants to struggle, but she is weak. She can only be pressed by Lucien’s strong chest and can’t move. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Lucien looks at her. His voice is low, magnetic and a little hoarse, “I didn’t mean to. You were struggling. Nina, you seduce me on purpose!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Lucien!” Nina roars. “You are shameless! When did I seduce you? I wish you are far from me!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He frowns and stares at her. “You hate me so much? But before you had feelings for me. One time is no different from many times, is it?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Lucien!” She blushes and stops him from going on. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“I remember you responded to me warmly under me!” He laughs wildly and says blatantly. “Didn’t you?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina’s face gets redder. She puts her hand over Lucien’s mouth and her voice is shaking. “Don’t talk nonsense!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Why can’t I say it?” Lucien whispers. He has a joking smile on the corner of his mouth, “I’m going to say that.” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina’s heart suddenly pricks. She bows her head and struggles to push him. His kisses fall on her face. He holds her in his arms and stops her from struggling. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Ah! No!” Nina screams. Warm tears burn his lips. He looks up at her in a daze and finds her in tears. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina turns and doesn’t look at Lucien’s handsome face. But tears run down her cheeks. She hates her inability to resist Lucien’s attack. She finally surrenders completely and enjoys his aggression. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She looks down on herself! Nina is biting her lips and can not help sobbing. “I’m not a prostitute. Don’t do this to me!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Seeing her cry, Lucien turns over and holds Nina’s hand. He does not speak but kisses her palms tenderly with his lips. Nina is shocked and wants to take back her hand. Lucien whispers, “OK, I won’t touch you! Don’t cry…” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina pulls the quilt with shame and trembling, trying to cover her body. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Lucien helps her with the quilt. He holds her and looks at her face. He sees a clear little image of himself in her beautiful eyes with tears in them. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Lucien doesn’t speak. He lowers his head and kisses Nina’s palm gently. After a while, he raises his head and asks her, “Nina, think it over. Can you be my woman?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She is stunned. She knows that he is the man all women dream of marrying, but she is the only exception. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She can’t accept him after all that hurt. She can’t do it. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She doesn’t love him. She never loves him. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She is poor and humble, but her heart is not for sale. Only one man can walk into her heart. That’s Andrew. Never Lucien! <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Nina freezes. She really likes the lovely Nelson. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina hesitates, and Lucien goes on, “I don’t mind if you like me or not. Because I can’t give you status. I can’t marry you!” He says in a low voice. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She looks up. “I have no status in my life and then you marry another woman? I can only sleep with you. Is that right?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He freezes and looks at her. “Is status important?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
At least he doesn’t think it is very important! <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
His rhetorical question seems to have been inserted into Nina’s heart like an invisible knife. She is too sore to breathe. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina suddenly closes her eyes. Her cheeks are covered with tears. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Nina!” Lucien only feels heartache. He looks down at her. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Lucien, why do you have to make me your woman? Do you love me?” She asks coldly. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He freezes. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina laughs at herself. She never hopes to get love, but she doesn’t want her self-esteem to be trampled. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Lucien is still silent. He doesn’t like talking about love with women. His deep eyes look at her face. But his eyes are cold. He begins to smile. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Do you long for my love?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“Lucien, you know women want to be loved. Women want status and want to be cared for. I’m no exception!” Nina says. Her voice is soft as if it will be scattered in the air by the wind. “But I just want to live with someone I love and love me. I don’t want to be a disgraceful mistress!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

With that, Nina takes a deep breath and tries to calm down. “I lost my father and my daughter. I have nothing in the world. Why do you want me to be your woman?” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Lucien’s body trembles a little. “It’s none of your business. You just have to promise to be my woman.” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina clenches her fist. She finds that she doesn’t even have the strength to clench her fist at the moment. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

She becomes quiet. He looks down at her. He raises her chin with his big hand. “Yes, that’s good. Good girl!” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
She looks at his face, his dark eyes and thick eyebrows. He has the grace of a king in his hegemony. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nina’s eyes flash panic. Is this man really her nemesis? <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
