"Why?" James Grayson said in a deep voice.

"Just do, what I said to you. I'll put the room key on the doorknob. Don't blame me for the chance you missed." Stephen finished and hung up.

James Grayson twisted his eyebrows, bent his arms, looked at the watch on his wrist, and went upstairs directly.

Stephen went to the room near the stairs and knocked.

Amelia William opened the door.

"Can you do me a favor?" Stephen said.

"Oh, yes, but you have to wait for ten minutes." Amelia William said.

Stephen's face was ugly,. "To tell you the truth, one of my one maids ran away. Now I need to change clothes for my daughter. There is only one maid. She can't do it alone. We are men after all. If you don't want to help, I will try to find another way."

"No, I will help you." Amelia William agreed.

"Then come with me." Stephen turned.

Amelia William looked inside and then looked at Stephen again. She closed the door and locked it.

A bang.-

Stephen was startled. He turned around, pushed the door, pretended to be surprised, and looked at Amelia William,. "Why do you locked the door?"

"Hannah is taking a bath there." Amelia William explained.

"Oh, yes, all right, let's go." Stephen pointed to the front.

Amelia William turned, walked ahead and Stephen followed.

By the way, he hung the key on the door.

James Grayson knew what was going on in on Stephen's mind. He took the key and opened the door. H but he didn't go in. He stood at the door and lit a cigarette.

He took a deep breath with the cigarette in his long finger and let out thick smoke, which obscured his cold and resolute face.

"Amelia." He heard Hannah Clarke's voice.

James Grayson turned around and stood at the door. He looked at her.

Hannah Clarke hasd just taken a bath and her hair was still wet. She wiped her hair with a towel and wore a white dress. The water on the end of her hair drips on her shoulders, back, and chest. The watermark was dyed and became transparent.

James Grayson thought about the young woman in the misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River. Clear eyes like water, shining like stars, white skin as jade, and matchless beauty. One couldn't help but be infatuated with her beauty.

Hannah Clarke saw that it was James Grayson, not Amelia William, especially his hot eyes, which made her feel uncomfortable,. "Is this the room you lived in?"

James Grayson pursed his lips, nodded, and his eyes were still focused on her face.

"I'm sorry, I borrowed your room to take a bath. Did you see my friend?"

"Today you and your friend can live in this room. She was called by Stephen. His daughter needs someone to change her clothes." James Grayson said.

"Oh, then I'll help." Hannah Clarke wanted to run away. She took her clothes and rushed out.

"Wait." James Grayson said in a deep voice.

Hannah Clarke stopped, took a deep breath, and turned to look at him.

He had some of her clothes in his hand. She had walked in such a hurry that she didn't even know when it her clothes had fallen.

Hannah Clarke was embarrassed to get her clothes. She stretched her hand and James Grayson shrank back. Hannah Clarke didn't get it.

She was stunned. In disbelief, her apricot like big eyes stared at him.

James Grayson put the clothes in her hand and said meaningfully, "Yyou always lose your clothesforget this and the other. But it doesn't matter if you lose the clothes, you can buy them again. Don't lose important things."

"I don't have anyidn't." Hannah Clarke subconsciously refuted a sentence, thought for a while, and added a sentence, "I just think it's not good to be seen by my boyfriend."

James Grayson's eyes were a little darker. "What are you thinking? What do you think is not good to be seen by your boyfriend?"

Hannah Clarke, "..."

She doesn'tdidn't want to talk to him anymore. James Grayson was usually reticent, but what he talked too much she felt helplesswhen he said, she can't answer back. She was not his opponent at all.

"What I think doesn't matter, what matters is what other people think!" Hannah said, leaving him no room to talk, and ran away.

James Grayson looked at her back, more profoundly.

Hannah Clarke went downstairs.

Stephen was surprised to see her.

"Let me help you. Where is Amelia William?" Hannah Clarke asked.

Stephen pointed the room downstairs.

Hannah Clarke went in to help.

Stephen saw James Grayson and ran to him. "Are you stupid? I've created opportunities for you. How can you let her go out so quickly? You should pretend to be locked in so that you can stay alone with her."

"Quite cheap." James Grayson replied.

Stephen saw how he spoiled his plan,. "Now I know why you are still single. Can you catch up with a woman without such tactics?"

"Who said I am single?" James Grayson proudly took a look at Stephen. His eyes were light but very serious. There was no joking element.

Stephen was surprised,. "You want to ride two boatsDid you have a foot in two boats?. It's not good. I won't help you chase Miss Clarke."

"There are no two boats, but my boat has lost the direction of navigation. It didn't know which way to return home, I have to take it back home. I'll solve my own problems. Thanks." James Grayson said in a deep voice, passing by Stephen.

Stephen stood still.

He knew that there was a woman in James Grayson's heart all the time. Because of that woman, he had no interest in any other womean.

People who didn't know him say that he hasd high vision and eyes on his head. People who actually understood him knew how affectionate he was.

However, how could the infatuated James Grayson be interested in Hannah Clarke?

What's wrong.......

*

Stephen didn't call his relatives or other friends. Maybe in his eyes, his two daughters died without honor. He didn't want to make them a laughingstock of the upper class.

The police took Kathy away, and Kathy's boyfriend also left with them.

In the evening, Hannah Clarke and Amelia William lived in the room where James Grayson lived.

As Hannah Clarke passed the living room, she saw James Grayson, Eric Jordan, Stephen, and David Wilson playing cards. These four men, on the same table and she just felt painting style was not right.

David Wilson looked at her and smiled. "Miss Clarke, let's play some cards together. If you win it's yours, if you lose it's mine."

"You say soEven if you agree, Mr. Grayson and Mr. Stephen will agree too, right Eric?" Hannah Clarke smiled at Eric Jordan with a little charm.

"If they agree, I have no opinion. Don't worry, I will let you win on purpose." Eric Jordan said it straight.

"Then, let Miss Clarke play for you first, will you?" Stephen said to Eric Jordan.

Eric Jordan looked at Hannah Clarke fondly. "Do you want to play? Come here."

"I can't play. I'm sure I'll lose a lot of money." Hannah Clarke didn't want to go there. She just thought it was the center of the storm.

"Your man can afford to lose. If you don't know how to play. I'll teach you." Eric Jordan got up directly, took Hannah Clarke's hand, and led her to come.

Hannah Clarke, "..."

If she still refuses, she will embarrass Eric Jordan, but, she didn't want to face James Grayson and David Wilson at the same time. This kind of pressure and fear rushed up from the bottom of her heart.
